Thought Pollution

We are surrounded by pollution, day in and day out. The moment we keep foot out of house, we face air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution and what more. We try our best to be safe from such pollution and blame the society. We have heard and faced a lot about such outer pollutions.

Today I will talk on pollution that comes from within. The pollution of our thoughts which seldom has the control. The pollution of thoughts that comes from mind. The government may take steps to control the environmental pollutions, but no government in this world can prevent or control thought pollution.

Let us think about our own thoughts and how polluted our thoughts are. To make it simple, crisp & clear I shall categorize it.

1. Pollution of Revenge : After some harm to our ego and reputation, we always think of taking revenge and destroy all the ego of the opposition. In doing so it gives happiness to us. But in the process we loose our mind, quality time and most importantly the relations that was build. There is no paste control or chemical treatment for EGO. The only remedy is to be ego-less and down to earth.

2. Pollution of Hate : When things don't go according to our desires we start hating the same thing or the same person whom we loved the most at times. So where has to love flied then ? We are slaves of situation and circumstances. Because our words, behaviors & likings totally depend on the circumstances and incidents and we start hating things or people. This is the dangerous pollution that costs when it come to relations.

3. Pollution of Enviousness : Jealousy or enviousness is often seen in people who fail to achieve and get jealous on someone's success rather than being happy for them. This feeling is jealousy is strong enough that is happens only with friends, relatives, siblings and near ones. A friend getting good job is a moment to celebrate and congratulate but jealous minded people waste their time thinking "How can he get such a good job ?"or "How can he/she be successful in his life ?" There may be a medicine for every disease  but there is and would never be a medicine for dangerous disease called "JEALOUSY".

4. Pollution of Disrespect : It was a time when every relation was seen with respect and care. But with the changing time, the values and respect of relations has vanished. people disrespect people regardless of the age and relations. They never see anyone with respect and love. And I tell you, without respect there is no love and humanity. people disrespect their parents, grand parents, partners, friends and many more without seeing what good they have done to us.

5. Pollution of Anger : In race of money, wealth, glamour, luxury and fantasy, there comes a free disease called ANGER. This is actually a virus which passed from one body to another. Once someone comes into contact with Anger, it keeps on passing from one body to another. An angry colleague in work unloads his/her on his colleague. After her transfers his/her anger he is relaxed and satisfied but the other guy will now be infected by anger and he will pass this anger feeling on the other one and it so on. This virus has no medicine and this polluted feeling has no remedy. The only remedy is to "Forget", but that is next to impossible for many of us.

These are the problems and pollutions that we posses within us and none of us could deny this fact.

Even I may be a pollution creator in some above kinds, because humans make mistake and nobody is perfect in life. So let us all try to stop this polluted thoughts and feeling and keep the social bond strong at workplace, home and in society.

There are some possible remedies and prescriptions to control or avoid this pollution.

A. Be grateful to all.

B. Celebrate small success, doesn't matter its yours or others.

C. Have feelings of humanity, love and care.

D. Be helpful to someone without expectations.

E. Before reacting, step into their shoes and think.

F. Take time to decide and rethink.

G. Value yourself and others feelings.

With this note, I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST & A POLLUTION FREE LIFE.

Spread this blog to your near and dear ones to gift them a POLLUTION FREE LIFE because once we understand where we go wrong, we may some day bring a change.
